Tomasz Ramus · AI in product and processes

People and process first. Then artificial intelligence.

I bring AI to where product meets the teams that work with customers. My agents take over repetitive work and gather data in one place, so people can make decisions with the full picture.

I help companies do the same, and I help people get into product management and grow in it.

Example

90 days from a question to an agent in production

In 2026 I led the whole process: from researching market needs to a working agent on a B2B SaaS platform used by companies across Europe. In 90 days:

  1. 01

We started by listening: in more than 50 conversations, customers showed us what they really needed.

  2. 02

We defined the project scope and what stays out of it.

  3. 03

We tested assumptions and risks, including the AI Act and GDPR, from day one rather than just before launch.

  4. 04

We planned and documented the work of four teams.

  5. 05

We shipped the agent to production on 29 June 2026.

What I value most is what happened next. In meetings and live presentations with our largest customers, the agent was the part they valued most. We kept listening after launch: analysing more than 300 conversations helped us refine the agent and set the direction for its further development.

How I work

I start by understanding the problem

I start every challenge with discovery: who it affects, where it comes from and how complex it really is. Only once I truly understand it do I define a solution that addresses every aspect of it, not just the most visible one. Without that, even a good tool solves the wrong problem. I work the same way whether the challenge is a career, a product, a strategy or a process.

What years of product work taught me
The surest path runs from people, through the process, to the solution.

I treat everyone in a process individually: the people who do the work, the people who make the decisions, and the people it merely affects. Systems set the way we work every day, so they should be shaped around people, not the other way round.

I use many methodologies and I am not attached to any single one. I am happy to talk them through, and we will pick the one that fits your situation.

Areas of expertise

Where I can help

AI is fast becoming a market standard. Companies and people who do not use it lose their edge or slow down. I work in four areas that often overlap.

01

AI-based process design and optimisation

I give people back the time that repetitive work eats up today.

I start with the people who work in the process and with where they really lose time. Together we break the process into steps and decide which ones an agent can take over and which must stay with a person. The agent gathers data and does the repetitive part, and a person approves anything that cannot be undone.

From my work
In my work, an agent collects and organises customer feedback, and a person approves the result at the end. That is how we organised more than 300 items in 3 days. The developers adopted the format and built it into the agent's panel.
How we start
A 2-week diagnosis, then a 6-week pilot on real data.
02

Product strategy and product growth

I help decide where a product should win and how we will know it has.

I start strategy from the goal, not from a feature list: where we play, how we want to win, what capabilities that takes and which metrics will show it. I base decisions on usage data and customer conversations, not opinions. I measure growth by whether people actually use the product, because access is not adoption.

From my work
I built the AI product strategy with the Playing to Win method, from the goal down to the metrics, before the first specification was written. Customer conversations after launch set the direction for what came next.
How we start
Usually as part of the 2-week diagnosis, before any specification is written.
03

AI agent design

I design agents that work in production, not only in a demo.

A good agent guides a person through a task instead of only answering questions. I design it from the scope: what it does on its own, what it proposes and what a person approves. Risks, the AI Act, GDPR and security rules are on the table from day one. I widen the agent's autonomy only when usage data shows it is safe.

From my work
A conversational agent for a B2B SaaS platform: from research to production in 90 days, with an AI Act classification and rules agreed with the security team. Launched without a legal blocker.
How we start
A use-case diagnosis, then a 6-week agent pilot.
04

Product management coaching

I help people get into product management and grow in it.

I moved into product from customer support myself, and I know how much it helps when someone shows you the way. We work on your real tasks: discovery, specifications, priorities, conversations with your team and stakeholders. You also learn to work with AI agents day to day, so they give you back time to think.

From my work
I run internal training sessions and webinars on working with AI, and day to day I work with my own PM skills, tested with evals.
How we start
4–6 sessions. I am starting this as a pilot programme for two people.

I take on one company project at a time.

Recommendations

What people I have worked with say

Excerpts from recommendations on LinkedIn.

There isn’t a problem or domain I can throw at Tomasz that he can’t master in a surprisingly short period of time. Comfortable outside his comfort zone, he doesn’t just “swim in the deep end”, he bathes in it. … Talking to him about his work, you’d get an impression he is having the time of his life.

About me

I was ready to explore. That is how I found my calling.

I started as a data center engineer, then worked in customer support. A coincidence led me to product management, but it was my readiness to explore that let me make the most of it. Within 12 months I was a Product Manager, and today I work as a Senior AI Product Manager.

That is how I found my passion and calling: building products, supporting people's growth and optimising processes. Now I want to help others: companies adopting AI, and people building their path in product.

I teach what I do every day: I run webinars and training sessions, and on 4 November 2026 I am speaking at Google Cloud Summit Poland.

Questions

Before you write

How do we start?

With a 30-minute call. You tell me about one process or one challenge, and I tell you plainly whether AI makes sense there and whether I can help.

Who is this not for?

I do not work with companies in marketing automation or e-commerce. It is also not for anyone looking for a ready-made tool without involving their own people: we work on your data and with your team.

How much does it cost?

I do not have a price list. I give a price after the first call, once I know the scope. I run the first company project on preferential terms in exchange for a case study.

Tell me what you are dealing with

Describe in a few sentences the process that takes up most of your team's time, or what you want to grow in. I will reply and we will set up a 30-minute call.
